Fence Company in Leeds, AL
Birmingham Fence Pros is a fence company that works in Leeds, an eastern suburb about 15 miles from downtown Birmingham. Leeds had 12,324 residents at the 2020 census.

The City of Valor
Leeds incorporated in 1887, though the settlement dates to 1818. It grew along the Little Cahaba River, a historic stagecoach route, and two railroads, and it housed workers from the Lehigh Portland cement plant. Its nickname, "The City of Valor," honors three Medal of Honor recipients from World War II and the Korean War who called Leeds home: Alford McLaughlin, William Lawley, and Henry "Red" Erwin.
One City, Three Counties
Leeds is unusual: the city sits in Jefferson, St. Clair, and Shelby counties. Inside city limits, the City of Leeds sets fence rules. For homes just outside the city, permits go through whichever county the property is in. We sort out which applies to your address before we quote.

Fences for Leeds Properties
Leeds has older in-town neighborhoods and more open land around the edges, so we build a wide range here:
- Wood privacy fences for backyards in town
- Chain link for pets, gardens, and large yards
- Aluminum for front yards and pools; see aluminum fences
- Long property-line runs and wide gates on bigger lots
Building Along the Little Cahaba
Lower ground near the Little Cahaba River and its creeks stays wet after heavy rain. In those spots we set posts deeper, add gravel for drainage, and check whether the lot sits in a mapped flood zone, where fences can need extra approval. Higher ground often brings rock, which we plan for in the quote.
