Fence Company in Midfield, AL
Birmingham Fence Pros is a fence company serving Midfield, a compact town in Jefferson County about 8 miles southwest of downtown Birmingham and two miles south of Fairfield. Midfield incorporated in 1953 and had 5,211 residents at the 2020 census, spread over about 2.6 square miles.
A Small Town of Neighborhood Streets
Midfield is almost entirely residential, with homes set close together on modest lots. In a town that size, fences do a lot of everyday work: keeping pets and kids in, giving a backyard some privacy from the neighbors, and marking a clean property line.
Fences We Build Most in Midfield
Wood privacy fences
Six-foot pressure-treated pine is the most common request. We use ground-contact rated posts, galvanized fasteners, and a straight top line. See wood fences for how we build them.
Chain link
Galvanized or black vinyl-coated chain link is a durable, affordable choice for side yards and dog runs, and it holds up to Alabama humidity without painting.
Vinyl
For homeowners who never want to stain or paint again, vinyl privacy and picket fences are a low-maintenance option.
Gates
Single walk gates, double gates for mowers and trailers, and gate repairs for latches that no longer line up.

Built for Birmingham-Area Weather
Midfield gets the same severe spring and fall storms as the rest of the Birmingham area. Solid privacy fences catch a lot of wind, so post depth and spacing matter. We also set posts in holes that drain, since red clay holds water and can push posts out of line over time.
Permits
Midfield sets its own rules, separate from Birmingham. We confirm what the Town of Midfield requires for your fence and call 811 before any digging.
